Clemson University announced on Apr. 20 that its softball team will host Presbyterian College for a midweek matchup at McWhorter Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina. The game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21 at 6 p.m., and will be broadcast on ACCNX.

This event marks the conclusion of Clemson’s home slate for the 2026 season. It also represents only the second meeting between the two programs, with Clemson holding a previous win from their inaugural season in 2020.

The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 30-17, having outscored opponents by a combined margin of 262-179 this year. Freshman Mac Pavese leads the team with a .351 batting average and 53 hits, while sophomore Marian Collins follows closely with a .347 average and 50 hits. Both Pavese and sophomore Corri Hicks have each contributed 35 runs batted in (RBIs) this season.

Clemson’s offense has been consistent, as evidenced by an ongoing streak of recording at least one hit in each of their last 169 games—a program record that began during regionals against UNCG on May 19, 2023. The Tigers have also secured nine victories over top-25 ranked teams this year and recorded eleven shutout wins.

Macey Cintron returns to Clemson’s lineup after being named Atlantic Coast Conference Freshman of the Year in 2025. She holds a .550 slugging percentage and .410 on-base percentage across her career, including drawing sixty-one walks over one hundred four games played. Cintron was also recognized as an NFCA First Team All-Region selection and recently gained international experience playing for Puerto Rico’s national team that won bronze during summer competition.

As both teams prepare for Tuesday’s matchup, fans can follow live statistics or attend in person to support Clemson as they close out their home schedule.
