The Clemson Tigers softball team will host Winthrop on March 10 at McWhorter Stadium, according to an announcement on March 9. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be available to watch on ACCNX.

This matchup marks the seventh meeting between Clemson and Winthrop, with all previous games played at McWhorter Stadium. Clemson holds a perfect 6-0 record in the series, including four shutouts against Winthrop.

Clemson enters the game with a 16-8 record and has outscored opponents by a combined total of 132-82 this season. The Tigers have accumulated 170 hits so far, led by freshman Mac Pavese, who is batting .373 with 28 hits, and sophomore Marian Collins, who leads the team with a .389 average and also has 28 hits. Pavese tops the team in runs batted in with 22, followed closely by Collins (20), senior Jamison Brockenbrough (19), and Corri Hicks (16).

The Tigers are currently riding a program-record hitting streak of 146 consecutive games, which began during the UNCG regional matchup on May 19, 2023. This streak surpassed their previous record set from their inaugural game through April 15, 2022. On the season, Clemson has secured four victories over top-25 ranked teams: Oregon, Liberty, Georgia, and Mississippi State.

Catcher Corri Hicks joined Clemson in fall of 2025 after transferring from Oklahoma. She has contributed significantly this season with seven extra-base hits among her total of sixteen hits and remains perfect in stolen base attempts at three-for-three. Hicks’s season highlight includes a walk-off home run against Georgia Tech that clinched a series win for the Tigers. Defensively, she has caught four runners attempting to steal.
