The Clemson Tigers women’s rowing team is set to compete at the Orlando Invite, with races beginning on April 16. The event will start Friday morning at 8:20 a.m. and continue through Saturday, marking the team’s second regatta of the 2026 spring season.

This competition provides an important opportunity for Clemson to test its progress against nationally ranked opponents. The team comes into the weekend after earning multiple podium finishes at the Rocky Top Invite, including a second-place result in the Varsity Eight final and additional top-three finishes in other varsity events.

At the Orlando Invite, Clemson will face strong competition from teams such as No. 11 University of Central Florida, No. 13 Alabama, No. 14 Duke, No. 15 Miami, No. 19 Pennsylvania, No. 24 Oklahoma and Southern Methodist University (SMU). Racing on both days is scheduled to begin at 7:40 a.m., with Friday’s heats determining placement for Saturday’s finals based on rankings.

The lineup includes four boats: two eights and two fours across different heats throughout Friday morning. Full race results are available online via CrewTimer.

After this weekend’s event in Orlando, Clemson plans to participate in the Lake Wheeler Invitational before moving on to postseason competitions such as the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships and NCAA Championships.
