No. 11 Clemson will play No. 17 Duke in an Atlantic Coast Conference women’s lacrosse game on April 11, with the match set for noon at Conklin Field in Clemson, South Carolina. The event will also mark senior day for the Tigers and could see Head Coach Allison Kwolek achieve her 150th career win.

The game is important as it has implications for the ACC tournament, with Clemson looking to solidify its spot. The Tigers currently hold an 11-4 overall record and are fifth in the conference standings after extending their program-record win streak to eight games following a victory over Cal.

Clemson leads the all-time series against Duke with three wins and one loss. Last season, Clemson lost to Duke during regular play but defeated them later in the ACC Tournament held in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Alexa Spallina recently received ACC Offensive Player of the Week honors after recording a total of 21 points across two games, including setting single-game records for assists and points against Davidson. She continues to lead the team statistically this season along with teammates Natalie Shurtleff and Kira Balis.

Several players are approaching individual milestones ahead of Saturday’s matchup. Spallina is ten points away from reaching 100 career points, while Paris Masaracchia needs four more caused turnovers to reach ninety for her career. Kayla MacLeod is expected to make her fiftieth appearance and is close to scoring her hundredth career goal.
