Clemson Track & Field secured the women’s team title at the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Outdoor Championships, with the event concluding on May 17. The Clemson women finished with 99 points, narrowly surpassing Duke by three points in a meet that was decided in the final 4×400 meter relay.
The significance of this result lies in Clemson’s continued dominance at the conference level, marking their eighth outdoor ACC championship. The achievement was bolstered by standout performances across sprints, relays, jumps, and middle-distance events.
The Tiger women’s success began with a record-breaking victory in the 4×100 meter relay. Aleksandra Stoilova, Aniyah Kitt, McKenzie Calloway and Briana Campbell ran a time of 42.48 seconds to win both the ACC title and set new meet, conference and school records. Their performance also ranks No. 11 all-time in NCAA history.
In field events, Shantae Foreman won the triple jump with a distance of 13.37 meters and took second place in the long jump with a wind-aided mark of 6.59 meters—setting an all-conditions program best for Clemson. Foreman’s wind-legal personal record (PR) of 6.36 meters placed her fourth on Clemson’s all-time list.
Middle-distance runners contributed key points as Nancy Cherop finished third in the women’s 1500 meters (4:11.81 PR) and second in the women’s 5000 meters (15:38.48). Judy Kosgei scored points in both middle-distance races while Gladys Chepngetich earned silver in the women’s 800 meters at a time of 2:02.21.
On hurdles events, Oneka Wilson finished second overall in the women’s 100 meter hurdles at a time of 13.07 seconds while Campbell placed fifth; Campbell also added an eighth-place finish in the women’s 200 meter dash where Kitt took fourth after placing fifth earlier in the day’s shorter sprint event.
The Tigers clinched their team victory by finishing runner-up in another relay—the women’s four-by-400-meter race—where Williams, Kitt, Calloway and Chepngetich clocked a combined time of 3:30.65 to close out competition.
Additional scoring came from Daneille Noble who cleared 1.77m for fourth place in high jump as well as Kimeka Smith who threw 16.91m for fourth place in shot put—a personal best effort.
