Senior forward Raven Thompson was named to the 2025-26 All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Women’s Basketball Academic Team, according to an April 21 announcement from the league office. This marks the second consecutive year that Thompson has received this honor while pursuing a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management.

The recognition highlights both academic and athletic achievements among student-athletes in the ACC. Earning a spot on the academic team underscores Thompson’s commitment to excellence on and off the court.

During her senior season, Thompson also earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors. On the court, she recorded 11 double-figure scoring games and five double-digit rebounding performances. Her season included two double-doubles—one of which came with 11 points and 12 rebounds during a loss to ninth-seeded USC in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on March 21. She also grabbed 11 rebounds and provided four assists in a win over eighth-seeded Virginia during the ACC Tournament.

Thompson achieved her first double-double of the season with 14 points and 11 rebounds at California on February 26, marking her eleventh career double-double. She matched her career high with 15 rebounds in a double-overtime win against Georgia Tech on February 12. Other notable performances included an eighteen-point game against Florida State, ten points in an overtime victory over Wake Forest, fourteen points versus NC State, and a season-high twenty-four points—including four three-pointers—in a road win at Miami.
