Sheri Biggs, a U.S. Representative, shared a series of posts on her social media account between April 3 and April 6, 2026, addressing both religious observances and policy issues.
On April 3, Biggs referenced the Christian observance of Good Friday by quoting scripture: “It’s Friday, but Sunday’s coming! ‘Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit,’ Luke 23:46b (KJV)”.
Two days later, on Easter Sunday, she posted a message celebrating the holiday: “He is risen! Today we celebrate the renewal of hope and promise provided through our risen Savior. I am grateful for this day and the blessings it brings. I wish you and your family a blessed and joyous Easter Sunday.” This message reflects the annual Christian celebration of Jesus Christ’s resurrection.
On April 6, Biggs shifted focus to technology policy following her participation in a congressional hearing. She wrote: “At a recent Research and Technology subcommittee hearing, I focused on how now more than ever we can stay ahead in the AI race to protect America’s future. The U.S. must have a strong AI action plan, ensuring families in the Third District are protected and innovation stays put”.
Biggs’ remarks about artificial intelligence come as lawmakers across the United States increasingly debate regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies. Congressional committees such as Research and Technology regularly hold hearings to assess national competitiveness in areas like AI development.
