Town of Williamston issued the following announcement on August 17.
Our children go back to school today. Please join us as we welcome back the staff and students of Palmetto Schools!
Be aware of school zones, school buses and pedestrians. In an effort to keep our students safe, our officers will be actively enforcing traffic laws with particular attention to all school zones.
Thank you Williamston Fire Department and Williamston Police Department for this awareness campaign!
