Greater Oconee County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
Sheriff Crenshaw will provide guidance pertaining to the recently signed Open Carry with Training Act. If you are unsure of how the new law pertains to you as a business owner or a citizen in South Carolina, this lunch and learn will help answer your questions and inform you of the legality of allowing patrons to carry firearms concealed while prohibiting the open carry of firearms inside of the business. Lunch will be provided by the students in the culinary program at the Hamilton Career & Technology Center.
