AnMed Health issued the following announcement on September 20.
Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) can happen to anyone. Many people who have AFib are not getting the treatment they need nor know the common triggers and symptoms of AFib. Some common triggers of AFib are caffeine, stress, poor sleep habits and excessive exercise.
Join AnMed Health’s AFib Clinic team in honor of AFib Awareness Month for an AFib screening and health fair on September 29 at the AnMed Health AFib Clinic. Drop in any time from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. and 3-6 p.m. for AFib screenings and education by Melinda Jenkins, DNP as well as screenings for sleep apnea by a respiratory therapist, nutrition information by a clinical dietician, and cardiac education by the Chest Pain Center Coordinator. This event is open to the public. AnMed Health’s AFib Clinic is located at 100 Healthy Way, Suite 1210, Anderson, SC 29621. The event will be socially distanced and masks will be *required*!
