Anderson University: South Carolina School of the Arts Students Receive Upstate ADDY Awards

Anderson University issued the following announcement on March 23.

SCSA students won numerous Upstate ADDY awards, including this brand identity campaign from James Glymph that won Best in Show.

Students in the South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University won numerous Upstate ADDY awards for their work.

2022 Student ADDY Winners from Anderson University:

  • Best in Show:

    James Glymph, a senior from Anderson, S.C., for Melloterra Branding (Integrated Brand Identity Campaign) 

  • Judge’s Choice:

    Shelby Parker, a senior from High Point, N.C.; Sara Pepper, a senior from Kennesaw, Ga.; and Natalie Stoliarchuk, a senior from Inman, S.C., for Kaliapi (Website Design)

  • Student Gold ADDY Award: The Ivy Leaves Design Team for Ivy Leaves Journal of Literature & Art (Online/Interactive Website (Desktop or Mobile))
  • Student Gold ADDY Award: James Glymph, a senior from Anderson, S.C., for Melloterra Branding (Integrated Brand Identity Campaign) and for Melloterra Elements of Branding (Logo Design)
  • Student Gold ADDY Award: Sara Pepper, a senior from Kennesaw, Ga., for Arlo Branding (Integrated Brand Identity Campaign) and for Ignite Your Imagination Book Cover Series (Cover/Editorial Spread or Feature - Series)
  • Student Gold ADDY Award: Shelby Parker, a senior from High Point, N.C.; Sara Pepper, a senior from Kennesaw, Ga.; and Natalie Stoliarchuk, a senior from Inman S.C. for Kaliapi (Website Design)
Gold award winners will advance to regionals.

  • Student Silver ADDY Award: The Ivy Leaves Design Team for Ivy Leaves Journal of Literature & Art (Integrated Brand Identity Campaign)
  • Student Silver ADDY Award: Lisa Cox Bishop, a senior from Anderson, S.C., for Front Runner Branding (Integrated Brand Identity Campaign)
  • Student Silver ADDY Award: The Ivy Leaves Design Team for Ivy Leaves Journal of Literature & Art (Blogs & Digital Publications – Digital Publications)
  • Student Silver ADDY Award: Lindsey Gatlin, a junior from Matthews, N.C., for Seaboard Typographic Process & Specimen Book (Sales & Marketing - Collateral Material - Printed Annual Report or Brochure)
  • Student Silver ADDY Award: Lindsey Gatlin, a junior from Matthews, N.C.; Weston Echols, a junior from Spartanburg, S.C.; Makenna Schiltz, a junior from Tomball, Tex.; and Rebecca Thompson, a junior from Anderson, S.C. for Levity Architectural Digest Publication Concept (Publication Design)
  • Student Silver ADDY Award: Natalie Stoliarchuk, a senior from Inman, S.C., for Pretty Omen Packaging (Packaging Design)
  • Student Silver ADDY Award: Miranda Mace, a senior from Matthews, N.C., for Choose Your Character Book Series Campaign (Publication Design - Cover/Editorial Spread or Feature - Cover)
  • Student Silver ADDY Award: Shelby Parker, a senior from High Point, N.C., for KIP & CO Branding (Branding)
“These students represent some of AU’s best and brightest young designers. I am very excited to follow their careers upon graduation,” said Dr. Tim Speaker, associate professor of art  and design. 

The Awards are given by the American Advertising Federation, a professional organization composed of leading advertisers, advertising agencies and media companies.
