Many people are experiencing grief during the COVID-19 pandemic. Grief is a normal response to loss during or after a disaster or other traumatic event. Grief can happen in response to loss of life, as well as to drastic changes to daily routines and ways of life that usually bring us comfort and a feeling of stability.
This support group will give you the opportunity to discuss your grief and to give moral and emotional support to those experiencing the same. The COVID Grief Support Group is not a professional therapy group or suitable for help in crisis situations. For immediate help in a crisis, please call 911 or call/text the Disaster Distress Helpline at 1-800-985-5990.
Join us at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley on September 13th and 27th at 7pm. Registration is required. Call 864-850-7077.
We are proud to be able to offer this service for
