On Tuesday evening, September 20, 2022, from 6-8:30 p.m., Anderson University Professional and Lifelong Learning will host a collaborative professional development event with Mental Health America Anderson County (MHAAC).
The evening will focus on best practices, resources, and the stressors that challenge good mental health throughout the Anderson community. MHAAC members, Anderson community mental health professionals, and Anderson University will participate in this professional development opportunity, and CEUs are available.
Keynote speaker, Mary-Catherine Riner, Ph.D., Ed. S., M.S., Licensed Psychologist at Riner Counseling, LLC, will present Mental Health Issues in Our Community. In addition, mental health practitioners and Anderson University psychology and health sciences faculty will participate in a panel discussion. Local mental health organizations will be on hand to provide information and resources on products and services.
This professional development opportunity takes place at the Anderson University Thrift Library, and doors open at 5:30 p.m.
A light dinner is provided, and registration is requested. Complete the online registration, and a confirmation will be sent by phone or email to finalize event details and collect fees. The cost for the evening is $10.
