On Sunday, March 23, former Pendleton High School standout Laney Jennings’ current college team, the Marshall Thundering Herd, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the James Madison Dukes.

The game took place at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Dukes this season.

The Thundering Herd’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 4 p.m. at Dot Hicks Field against Pittsburgh Panthers.
