On Saturday, April 12, former Pendleton High School standout Taylor Beak’s current college team, the Francis Marion Patriots, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Mount Olive Trojans.
The game took place at FMU Softball Stadium. This was their fourth matchup against the Trojans this season.
The Patriots’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at Tyger River Park against Converse Valkyries.
