On Saturday, March 22, former Wren High School standout Danielle Merritt’s current college team, the Anderson Trojans, won 15-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UVA Wise Cavaliers.

The game took place at Anderson Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Cavaliers this season.

The Trojans’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 1 p.m. at Anderson Softball Complex against Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.
